Dog Training for Good Behaviour

This is what I do the most: Personalised training for you and your dog to resolve dog behaviour problems and obedience issues

I come to you because I like to see dogs in their own environment. When dogs are taken somewhere else, they often act differently. If there’s a particular dog behavioural problem you’d like me to see, we can go on a walk or to wherever the problem occurs. Remarkable results are certainly possible - See "What Clients Say" for details. Common problems include: Dog aggression, pulling on lead, separation anxiety, recall, fear of fireworks, dog soiling, dogs jumping up, excessive barking.

We’ll spend at least half of our time talking through the issues. I’ll ask lots of questions to make sure I get the full picture (It's all too easy to prejudge situations, but it's my job as a professional dog trainer to get it right so that you get the result you want). During our time together, I'll explain:

The best ways to resolve the issues YOU want resolved

How you and you family can become great pack leaders. (It’s easy when you know how and I’ll share my 'tricks of the trade' with you). This the foundation of good behaviour.
How dogs think - with particular reference to YOUR dog/s

Because I train you as well as your dog, think of this as a skill which you will keep for life and can use with every dog you ever own. I believe it's money well spent. First consultations take approx 2.5 hrs at a guaranteed fixed cost:

£110 Fixed Price for: Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborough and Rushden and all surrounding towns and villages. Follow-up visits are normally for an hour at £50.

£125 Fixed Price for: Corby, Daventry, Towcester, Market Harborough, Desborough, Milton Keynes, Newport Pagnell and surrounding towns and villages. Follow-up visits £60

Other areas - I'll travel anywhere you need me for dog training and dog behaviour problems, please contact me for a quote. (No hard sell, guaranteed - It's not my style!)

One Day Residential Training

You may decide that you would like your dog to come to me for an intensive one-day training course to get their new behaviour off the the best possible start. I will personally provide several dog training sessions during the day. This service includes pick up and drop off back to you and personalised dog training with you at home.

From £170

Fees are fixed in the sense that there are no nasty surprises or hidden extras - The price we agree is what you pay for my time and expertise. Fee varies only depending on how far I travel to you from Northampton. (Most areas of Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborough, Higham Ferrers, Rushden, Burton Latimer, Rothwell are included in my lowest price but I'm working all over Northamptonshire and surounding counties every day, so please contact me if you don't see your area).
