We Saved A Dog From Being Rehomed
Had a Great Day Today - I Love It When We Save A Dog From Being Rehomed...
Alfie & Millie From Milton Keynes
I had a great end to the day's dog training today when I went to see Paul and Lisa in Milton Keynes for a follow up. They'd called in desperation when a friend recommended me because their labrador was creating havoc in the home and on walks. With their first baby coming soon, if he didn't change dramatically, regrettably he'd have to go.

I have some lovely clients and I'm really quite proud of Paul and Lisa. They did a great job following the initial consultation and both of their dogs are much better behaved than before. They've all done really well and it looks as though Alfie's got a happy future after all. Well done guys, keep it up!

When I got home tonight there was an email waiting for me for inclusion on the website. Here's what they had to say:

"Hi Graeme,

I would like to thank you for all your help with our Labradors, Alfie ( AKA The Dark Destroyer ) and Millie.
As you're aware, we were so close to rehoming Alfie, much to our disappointment. He is a very strong willed lab, and no amount of dog training seemed to help. We have spent Hundreds of pounds on training leads, gimmicks to stop him from barking, pulling on the lead, and running the house. We've tried everything within our power to train him, and nothing has worked.

My friend recommended you and, as a last ditch attempt to save our beloved Alfie, we gave it a go. This was the last straw. My wife and I couldn't believe how Fast Alfie changed with a one to one session with you. He put up a fight, but you gave us the knowledge to understand Alfie and his needs, and where we as pack leaders were going wrong.

We were shocked that within 5 Mins of you walking him to heel, you dropped the lead and Alfie stayed where he was. Gob-smacked is an understatement. Our faces couldn't stop smiling with delight, and the realisation that not all is lost with Alfie made our hearts light up.

We really didn't want to lose Alfie, but with My wife Lisa due to give birth to our first child, we really were worried about him around our little one.

We have just had a follow on session and we worked on heel work while pushing a buggy, ready for our daughters arrival in 5 weeks. Alfie and Millie seem much happier and walking them is is now a pleasure, even though they do try their luck every now and then.

Without your help we would have been without Alfie by now. You have shown us that with the right training and guidance we can have wonderful dogs who are a pleasure to be around.

We will contact you once our daughter arrives and arrange training for both of them.

From the bottom of our hearts... THANK YOU

Paul, Lisa, Alfie, Millie and Bump, Milton Keynes"
