Rehoming appeal: Through no fault of his own, Sonny, an 20 month old male Doberman in Northamptonshire finds himself looking for a loving home. Could yours be that home? Please read on:
He was currently staying with a very caring and Dobie-mad lady in Higham Ferrers but in a small house with two other big dogs, it's not working out and regrettably he had to find somewhere else to live as soon as possible. He's now in a no-kill kennels but it's not ideal. I'd like to see him with a new home asap. Can you help..?Sonny is a lovely character, a big softie of a Dobie. He is good with children and other dogs. I have worked with him and the only issue he appears to have is that he pulls on the lead a little. It's no worse than most dogs and it can be fixed. He has a lovely temperament and will be great dog for someone special. Could that be you?
He's a big lad, brown and tan in colour and quite young and bouncy, but with a great nature. He would suit someone perhaps with another dog but certainly with the time to walk him. Sonny is neutered and crate trained. Rehomed dogs are rarely this free of dog behaviour issues in my experience.
